What is Cardinal Tech Blueprint?
CTB is a custom course that will guide you through the up to date process for obtaining contract work within the Commercial & Retail IT Industries. The techniques and strategies provided have been acquired, developed and tested over the last 9 years in the field as a Commercial and Retail IT Contractor. Applying the knowledge within CTB will give you an advantage over other new and established IT Technicians who lack this insight. This program is designed for current IT Pros looking for new business, as well as those who are just getting started. Our exclusive library of training content allows you to significantly expand your skills on-demand. CTB teaches what you need to know to be work-ready, make bids, and efficiently complete jobs in your area. 

What to expect as a Commercial & Retail IT Contractor:
You’ll be required to get comfortable in a variety of roles. Just like anything, it will take time to develop this level of confidence and competence, but this course will fast-track you to success and adaptability. 

Roles: Network Field Tech, Smart Hands, Dispatch
I’ve dispatched, managed, and trained myself and others for Pharmacy Critical Network Upgrade Rollouts, 20+ Location Physicians Office Mergers, Commercial & Retail Break-Fix, Big Box New Store Full Installs (Infrastructure Cabling, Network Rack, 66/110 Punchdown Blocks, CCTV, Speakers, VOIP Phones, POS, Servers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, NAS, Access Points) and many other projects, ranging from standard to white-glove service in the Commercial & Retail IT Industries.

CTB includes job specific training. (Beginner to Advanced)
By familiarizing yourself with everything CTB has to offer, you’ll be fully ready for contract work. Then you can begin bidding on the jobs that match your skillset and soon be assigned your first work order. (Results vary depending on service area, time and effort invested; usually new contractors are assigned their first contract within 1-2 weeks). It is important to stay vigilant with bidding, especially in the beginning to form new business relationships and build your profile. Setting up your profile takes about 1-2 hours, and the course content can be completed at your own pace.

CTB training content is relevant for those looking to start working in IT with little to no field experience, as well as those who already have experience and are looking for Commercial and Retail IT contract work. CTB training lessons range from beginner to advanced skills, applicable to careers of all stages. You can even use CTB in conjunction with active jobs. Learning at your own pace allows you to accept jobs at your current skillset, while developing more capabilities and bidding for more complex and lucrative opportunities. 

Success via CTB requires effort regardless of prior experience. The more work you complete, the more routed opportunities you will receive, and the more highly considered your bids will be. Does CTB really work? Real 6 Month Results (10/14/21-4/14/22)

There is more volume of work orders in larger cities and their metro areas.
Contract opportunities increase with prompt availability and increased service distance.
Willing to travel 1-2 hours to a jobsite will increase your odds of work being assigned to you, additional travel expense paid. (covered in detail within CTB)
